This is a renovated Californian Bungalow offering good accommodation and several living areas. It offers a flexible floor plan over two levels, with most of the rooms in the right position. However the main concern for some will be that two of the bedrooms downstairs are a bit small and dark. Overall the upstairs works well, offering a good size main bedroom and a retreat which could also be used as a bedroom.  The main bathroom and the kitchen may benefit from a cosmetic renovation to bring them to current living expectations. The open plan kitchen/family room may be a bit tight and dark probably due to the color palette choice and the south rear orientation. Considering the block slope, there is no connection between the house and the garden. And this could be an issue for families with young children.  Overall this property will work well for a family although buyers need to be comfortable with the levels inside the property and the south facing orientation. The position works well as the property is located walking distance to Lynden Park, easy access to transport - tram on Burwood Highway and Hartwell Station and proximity to leading schools.
