This Victorian has a great street presence and, although it feels tired inside, a cosmetic update would lift its appeal. Most rooms are in the right places and of a good size, although the entrance area needs a rethink as it feels cramped and inhibits light into the dining and sitting rooms. This one-of-a pair has the advantage of space on the north side, which could be used to allow light into the home. There is room for up to two off-street car spots at the front of the property - a bonus given the limited on-street parking here. The grassed backyard could do with some landscaping as it is a good size to entertain and watch small kids. Position is key here - it is walking distance to Armadale station, the High St tram-line and shops and Armadale Reserve. Although this home is ready to move into, it would likely find interest from families (probably with older kids due to bedroom positions) who are prepared for the work to achieve a period home in this convenient location.
