An original brick period home in the popular Urquhart Estate. An inviting façade includes decorative chimneys, steep roof pitch and a gabled entry, as well as prized covered car-parking. The property will suit an enterprising builder or a younger family prepared to do some (or a fair bit) of work. The south-facing rear aspect is a concern here, and any new design will need to be clever to factor this in as rear living areas will be challenged in terms of access of natural light. In terms of comparable sales, no. 22 sold for around the $1.65 million mark back in April. It was a slightly bigger land and house, but is worth looking at.
