Those keen to live in this pretty family precinct, and who are looking for some work, should be really drawn to 5 Selwyn. As an architect I really liked its potential. Key pluses are the north-facing rear aspect, the generous block width, and the front and rear car access. The position of the house on the block, towards the front and over to the eastern side, maximises the backyard area and access to afternoon sun. are There certainly are some design challenges ahead - mainly due to the steps/levels. But the façade is charming and the bones overall are good. This is an A-grader, and it should go well at auction.
