Comments on 3 Tennyson Street BRIGHTON

First up Tennyson is a much underrated street - one back from the beach and 400 metres to rail and coffee at Brighton Beach, not to mention Milanos. A 1 minute drive to the Were St shops for groceries and 3 minutes to Church St by car. No 3 is a great summer feel home that could be a lot better - meaning it has good views of the water but some ugly ones of the neighbours air-con. The floorplan flows pretty well but for some reason an indoor pool was put in breaking the whole flow. The land is a good size and the garden is private, steps or the slope make changes a bit tricky but the locale means a great reno would provide a return on the investment. Bedroom separation is a plus. And I like the use of the void. Price - right now its very livable but those who tend to have this sort of cash want a better final result; so for me it's a 300,000 to $750,000 refurbishment and so work your buy price back from your end value.

Large Modern home which is little dated internally in terms of finish/fitout, yet it is light and bright and the floor plan is quite functional. Privacy of backyard and location are key pluses, not quite sure about the indoor pool.
