This original Victorian house has been renovated to a good standard and presents very well to the street, due to it's classic facade and meticulous garden. The floor plans flows quite well - I like the way the back of the house wraps around the mature plane tree and the living area opens out to the northwestern side. Upstairs has been done OK yet is not brilliant - ceilings are on the low side and room sizes are a little small - would suit a younger family but maybe not an older one. Location is very good and one of the real pluses - Campbell is one of the better streets in Balwyn, leafy and close to Burke Road tram/shops.

Great street and locale - it may be Balwyn by name but it's Canterbury by flavor. The home presents very well from the front and still holds good interest as you enter. The positioning of the home, although its east/west in orientation allows all the north light to stream in.  But the reno at the rear was poorly thought in terms of flow and proportions and is compounded by the upstairs bedrooms being small - personally for what it offered at the start I was a little disappointed by the finish. Overall a pass when with some more thought it could have had a big tick.
