With a home that is most probably past its use by date, this presents as a good opportunity for buyers to acquire a blank slate and make it their own (STCA), in a family oriented area on a pretty and leafy street.

The main question in most buyer's minds will be how to make the most of this block in terms of growth going forward. Families looking to live here for 20 years may have different thoughts to developers looking to build and move on, and I suspect that both buyers will be at the auction for this property so it will pay to know who you might be bidding against.

176 Finch Street, just down the road, sold for a touch above $2 million recently, although this had a comfortable (if somewhat quirky) home on it with the same land content.
