This modern family home on 616 sqm approx of land provides an opportunity to buy a property with plenty of rooms, made possible by the double garage being located below ground. The property has good long and short term floorplan flexibility and with all the bedrooms located on the first floor you have good separation from living areas. Separate living areas on all floors provide the opportunity for teenagers and parents alike to get some separation from each other if required. I particularly like the way the livingroom folds in behind the stairway, allowing some noise management without losing the connection to the kitchen and outdoor areas. Some may find the position of the pantry a little awkward as it doesn’t connect with the rest of the kitchen and may have been better positioned alongside the laundry. The backyard is bigger than you would expect and provides a reasonable children’s play area, and the covered entertaining deck will appeal to parents. The rear easterly orientation may be a concern as it will limit afternoon sun into the pool and paved area. For a property that is nearly ten years old its appearance has held up well against other new builds in the area. But the big question is whether it will have the same appeal in another ten years, and how this may impact future growth.
