This is a relaxing small home that has a seamless flow from inside to outside. It is positioned in a quiet court, and most of the rooms open onto the outside, including the bedrooms, providing vistas that create a calming feel to the property. Its size and location would appeal to a downsizer couple. However, the house needs a cosmetic renovation throughout and does have low ceilings typical of a 1960s home. As the house is positioned at the back of the block and the living areas are in an L shape with the kitchen at one end, it may not suit families with young children requiring supervison. There may however be scope to open up the meals and lounge room to create a large multi-use kitchen/family area. Situated in an A grade precinct and with a generous land size of 722 sqm, this may be better considered as a new build opportunity. Although there is easy access from the court position, the key question for land buyers is can the clever design needed here achieve what you want in a long term family home?
