Bourne Road in the Summerhill Estate Area is one Glen Iris's better streets east of the Freeway.
The home itself is a rambler - a hotchpotch, with rooms tacked on here/there and not of the highest quality. However good light throughout.
But you know what? It still sort of works. Cutting edge, no way; indoor/outdoor to die for, nope; quality fixtures and fittings I don't think so.
But if you want entry level and the price is right, then 6 Bourne...... If this pushes towards 3 million then that is over the top, you've got better alternatives, but if it sells around mid $2m's and you have a got a big tribe then this maybe 6 Bourne is your answer.
Pool out the back dominates the yard and the gazebo for want of better words means grass is at a premium.
Upstairs is rooms, rooms and more rooms and they sort of work - some privacy would be possible as would a good pillow fight.
Not my cup of tea but then I have snobbish tendencies at times, however if you want a basic home at the right price and assuming it is at the right price then this may well be yours.
