This is a home that has hosted some good times for sure. In the heart of gritty urban chic and spread across four floors, it's not about practicality.  It’s an inner city domain for couples, a fun place to entertain, work and play. It's actually not all gritty chic, given the property is tucked down the back of a fairly quiet nook and there is a council adventure playground to the rear. Several flights of stairs, as well as steps up and down outside, might be a bit of a constant bother, but we are moving about a plot of land that has a small footprint and the four floor levels are required to get in enough living requirements. The basement is set up as a bedroom/library, but it does lack a bathroom and built-in robes. It might actually work better as a cool home-based office, especially given it has its own entrance to allow for meeting and greeting clients. There is space for a car at front, but you might want to give it a practice run as it slopes down. A ‘wow factor’ is reserved for the top floor. A deck takes in sunshine and great views over rooftops. The council playground below will hopefully prevent it ever being built out. The playground will get rowdy at times; it is only open for a couple of hours on weekdays, but longer times during weekends and school holidays. Two bedrooms have an ensuite each, a handy convenience for guests. This feels like a professional couple's home, with perhaps one older child in the mix.
