James Home Ratings is a tool to make property decisions easier, quicker and more accurate.
All home characteristics are assessed against set control points and a numerical result expressed. It is therefore possible to compare vacant blocks of land (land rating only) with apartments. And it is possible to meaningfully compare different geographical areas and price ranges. Download the book on how our system works. The main criteria points revolve around and combine predicted financial and emotional outcomes. Eg predicted capital growth from a financial point of view and predicted liveability from an emotional point of view. But it is also a lot more than just this.
Then using objective numerical formulas all information is collated resulting in a final numerical assessment out of a 1000.
The higher the score the better the home – emotionally and financially.
James Home Ratings also allows for meaningful comparisons between very different properties while taking into consideration all their respective features. Once a rating is completed a figure out at 1000 is given and this allows the buyer/user to:
Another strength is it lessens the chance of a user/buyer buying an overall poor property with one dominating good feature or missing a good property which has minor negative features. James Home Ratings sorts out the “wrong” and “right” properties for each individual in a very short space of time AND gives the user very clear and definitive guidelines. As well as making the right decision by only looking at the right properties time, money and stress is saved. Developed over many years with an Australian Innovation Patent it is now being used by thousands of residential homebuyers. All ratings are completely objective – we receive no money from the sellers or selling agents and are carried out by licensed and fully trained James buyer agents or architects.

Bought* - Indicates property has been sold. We are a rating company for buyers only, and we use the word bought instead of sold. We do not buy all the properties listed on this website so we often rely on an advertised price or the selling agent to indicate bought price and occasionally the result may be inaccurate.
