Comments on 789 Drummond Street CARLTON NORTH

789 Drummond Street is a blank canvas just waiting for someone with the imagination and motivation to turn this solid looking property into their own special pad. I particularly like the way the property sits proud on the street and, with its good ground clearance, air flow under the property is excellent. Many period homes sit low to the ground, which is not ideal as water run off is not always managed correctly and they can feel damp and cool. Despite no one living in the property on the day I inspected, the home still felt dry and had no residual musty smell. Depending on individual needs you could move in or rent this property as is. However, to create a truly functional family home it will be necessary to carry out significant renovation work to all the big ticket items such as bathrooms, kitchens, family room and laundry areas. With its attractive Boom Style facade, matching period neighbours and inner city location, the sale will come down to how motivated the vendor is.
