Comments on 66 Alfred Street PRAHRAN

This classic double-fronted Victorian timber cottage has been renovated to a very high standard. The floorplan is a flexible one, with most rooms in the right position. Some buyers may have a concern with the location of the bathroom at the opposite end of the house to the bedrooms, which is not ideal. A bonus is the laneway that runs along the northern boundary, as it allows light to enter unrestricted. The laneway also gives you the flexibility to bring your car off street and park it in the rear courtyard if required. This would need some thought, however, as the courtyard is not large and a car would dominate. This is one of Prahran’s better streets and, with its classic facade and proximity to shops, cafe, public transport and schools, this property will appeal to downsizers, a professional couple, families with very young children and investors looking for that inner city property, with nothing more to spend.
