Comments on 64 Beaconsfield Parade ALBERT PARK

What potential this ugly duckling has! The first thing I would do though, is ask the adjoining neighbour on the south side if they would agree to removing the front stairs (STCA). In a previous life, those stairs gave access to a separate first floor apartment and are no longer needed. If the stairs were removed, and the ornate veranda lattice and posts returned, the street presence of the property would be improved significantly. With good land content of 280 sqm approx and rear access, that means you have enough space to extend up and out to create your dream family home (STCA). The key issue here is how to capture the bay view. Fortuitously there are no public toilets, lamp posts or palm tree opposite to hinder this spectacular view. Renovated properties along Beaconsfield Parade do command some very high prices, however the number of buyers can be less than for properties in more conventional locations.
