This is a nice home for a family with teenagers/older kids. The feeling is light, airy, and well finished. The alfresco area is aptly described in the advertising as a "luxurious pavillion" and, with the the pool, is the headline statement for this property, without a doubt! In fact, the pool is stunning and runs almost the entire width of the rear boundary. Bedroom sizes are reasonable, although the master bedroom is perhaps a little on the smallish size. The home has been renovated, probably within the last 10 years, and certainly doesn't feel like you'd need to be spending too much more in the near future. The lack of a rear yard means it is not great for small kids, and McArthur St does carry some traffic. Ivanhoe East shopping precinct is just a few minute's stroll away, and there are multiple choices of schools, parks, golf courses, and rail transport, are a drive rather than a walk away. Surrounding homes in McArthur and nearby streets are very pleasant.
