"Its not often I agree with the agents headline but this time they have it spot on - destined to be a landmark is true. As far as homes go especially in this area this is a truly amazing home. If you want privacy and you are an understated guy or girl then don't buy 60 Tuxen St; but if you are out there a bit, want a truly unique home and you have minimalist leanings then you should look a this. It has everything a modern home demands and then some. Price? Well who knows for sure, there has only been one real comparable that I'm aware of in the last few months in this immediate area and that was 20 Tormey that hit $3.5m. 7 Rookwood was around $3m and 51 Kenny was north of $3m but on bigger land - different offering. If this is to break $4m that must surely be a record for Balwyn North and you know what if the right bidders are there then I think it can - but please I am being a bit brave, the market seems to have a slight stutter as I write this and it may well end up below the quote. Paul Pfieffer is a feisty agent who gets results so lets see. It's only money though and I admire the builders bravery - well done on having a go and giving us an honest, high quality and unique product. You and the eventual buyer deserve what you get."

A massive crowd of more than 250 people spilled onto the street and into a nearby park - at one point disrupting traffic and frustrating a delivery man who held his hand on the horn impatiently, waiting for the crowd to disperse. But throughout all this, auctioneer Toby Parker kept his cool and steered the auction towards an impressive result for the vendor....
