"Great house - pretty from the street and it just gets better as one walks through. This is one of the best rear extensions I have seen this year - and it is not new yet still works very, very well. Light and ceiling heights are the key here - how often do we see rear extenstions with lower ceiling heights than the original house (the answer is mostly) - in this case the room volumes almost dwarf the original house and light is brought in via a lot of clever and unexpected ways. Given the location (fringe Beacon Cove) this offering is a little unexpected and a pleasant surprise. Very good potential car access to the rear and backyard is private and spacious."

"Looking at values
160 Clark Street - over the city side of Graham Street (away from water). Bought in November 2009 for $1,645,000 prior to auction. Classy feel for home, good rear access, double fronted period home. On 2/3rds the land (260sqm) and no back yard. Does have a second storey.
1 Orcades Mews: 320 sq metres on the corner of Swallow with a Mirvac home on it - two storey. Sold in December for $1,562,000. Doesn’t have that period flavour or yard space.
138 Danks St: Weaker position arguably. Similar land size. Not a classy a house. Sold for $1,705,000 at Auction in Feb 2010."
