Comments on 57 Cawkwell Street MALVERN

Classy offering at this price range is 57 Cawkwell and almost all of that comment relates to the home - its free flowing and the rooms are well sized - the façade is somewhat timeless - or perhaps better put, not as datable as others.

The on block position brings in light AND the kitchen, laundry, garaging, dining and supervision interconnections all work for me.

I could see this home being updated decade after decade, as the basics are so strong and the lines so clean.

So what don't I like so much - well the block is narrow relatively speaking - but that has largely been negated by smart design - its next to flats in a street that is narrow and always seems to have cars in it during the day.

Whilst overall Malvern is a great place to be, this is not its best precinct - but at this price range that maybe harsh - as the others are unaffordable.  Tram, train , shops, access to schools and freeway are all excellent.

Lock and leave - kids or none - older or younger - class or basics - almost all buyer groups will see merit in Cawkwell - that will present some challenges on purchase - but after you've stretched and if you buy - then you will have comfort on resale into the future.

So in finishing I like this a lot; not so much in the architectural merit, more so in the builder's convictions and experience to produce a really good home.
