5 Harts Parade
BOUGHT* - $1,765,000
A good sized crowd gathers at midday for the auction of 5 Harts Pde. Auctioneer and campaign agent Damian Davis gives a good spiel here and Alastair Craig, out and about as he often is, responds to a question from a party in the crowd. At 12.12pm the auction officially opens and a vendor bid of $1,600,000 is placed not long after. One bidder then comes in...

Comments on 5 Harts Parade HAWTHORN EAST

This is a pretty double-fronted timber Victorian home which has been nicely renovated and extended up at the rear. The main house pluses are the modern rear open-plan living area, the size of the first floor bedroom, the flow, and the light. While the main bedroom downstairs is well positioned and served by an ensuite and WIR, it is perhaps a fraction small.  A north-facing rear and private backyard connects very well to the informal house areas, though is perhaps a little small and the block a bit narrower than 'like' properties in the street. Car garaging I felt was very good as it was relatively easy to access and a generous size. Harts Parade is pretty and contains mostly period homes of this ilk and is close to Auburn South Primary, Auburn Village and Camberwell Junction.
