"The home is impressive from the outside as you look at - but as you turn around to see the neighbours you see a car park across the road and really you are smack bang in the middle of industrial - for some this will be a hip place, for others it won't have that family feel. No car park for me is a big deal as most women would have security fears late evening in this neck of the woods. Going inside you see the home has been well renovated - it does have a feeling of quality and looking beyond the temporaries like the furniture etc you can see it has a good flow about it. The front two bedrooms are suitable for young kids but once they hit their teen years it maybe a little cramped. The rear I like - what has been done has a real flavor of indoor/outdoor and hopefully the plantings will soon block out the flats which invade one's privacy a bit. To upstairs via a tight stairway - this is a good use of a (there's that word again) tight space - the ensuites works for me as does the little study nook -  this will give mum or dad an HQ to run the family. No cooling upstairs is an issue that would need to be remedied pre Summer. Overall typical of a small offering in the area and nicely presented. Agent Quote $800,000 to $880,000  "

"Renovation is quite well thought out and the design is clever in areas (use of mirrors and hanging plumbing fixtures from the wall enhances the sense of space), adopting many contemporary trends (i.e. cafe doors from kitchen to outside, study nooks). Obviously main concerns such as neighbouring flats, no off-street parking etc. will be of concern to buyers - yet these issues are not uncommon in built-up urban areas such as Richmond. Internally house is light and bright (mainly due to northern rear orientation) and the fit-out is canny (I like the black and white kitchen, yet for me handles above bench height distract the eye).   "
