Comments on 40 Moody Street BALWYN NORTH

This is a well-designed home with a great flow and feel, both indoors and out. Even on a dreary day (as was the case when I inspected), the home has ample natural light. There was no aspect of this home that I did not find appealing: room sizes, quality feel, light, ceiling heights, outlook from both storeys and street appeal all rated highly in my books. I love the use of the recycled bricks and the distinctive window screens, which add an element of privacy without reducing light. Corner blocks can be tricky and this one is not overly large at approximately 613sqm, but the property has been cleverly designed to make the best of the aspect. I also like the way the garage has been incorporated into the structure of the home rather than using up space in the backyard, which means there is room there for both a pool and a reasonably sized grass area for the kids to play. Talking of kids playing, with so much open space surrounding this home, I doubt they'd ever complain of having nowhere to the kick the footy. I think buyers will find this home very appealing with its seven internal living spaces, plus a deck and a terrace. I would expect reasonable competition for this home.
