4 Hampton Grove
PASSED IN - $2,390,000
Startled as they may have been when a large clap of thunder was heard half way through proceedings, the bidders at this auction were definitely not scared off! Comments on 4 Hampton Grove CAMBERWELL

A large original family home which has been updated in the past and is probably due for more work again soon. The floor plan does meander a little and space is lacking in the rear open plan area and also the bedroom arrangement upstairs is not perfect. This all of course could change, with a canny renovation.  The key plus here is land size - the block is very deep and relatively flat - slight concerns with it however are the width (relative to its depth) and the southern rear orientation. The outlook and feel of the backyard is powerful and one does have the feeling of being in the country somewhere, rather than in an inner Melbourne suburb. Position is quite good, close to Middle Camberwell shops and Willison and Hartwell train stations.
