This surprisingly spacious home is well-located on a nice wide street near the Malvern Road shops. The house sits quite low, and there a few steps down as you enter, so I initially had the feeling that it was going to be a little compact overall. What a pleasant surprise then to find loads of light coming in from the thoughtfully-placed windows, as well as an abundance of storage throughout – both features that really help make the most of the space. One bedroom downstairs and three up the top will certainly suit a couple who are downsizing, and provide room for guests and grandkids. While the bedrooms are not overly large, the master has a total of 14 vertical wardrobe cupboards lining just one wall – now that is organised! A small family looking for a low-maintenance option could certainly do worse. The room at the front might be used as a study, though the kitchen is on the small side, with a bench that juts out and doesn’t really function as a gathering place.
