Comments on 33 Golding Street CANTERBURY

This is a well-presented original timber period home, which has good bedroom separation and good floorplan flow over a single level. The rear open plan living area works well and is a good size, nicely suiting a younger family. The gardens are attractive. Concerns for some could be the corner location, which means that the front and front-side of the property are not that private. The bathroom areas are weak, in that there is no ensuite and the secondary bathroom is shared with the laundry. This of course could be addressed with some changes to the floor plan. The property does enjoy a northern rear aspect, which is a plus, however the full benefit of this is not enjoyed internally because of the wide verandah and tall tree in the backyard. The location on the corner of Highfield Road, which does carry local traffic, is not ideal. But the property is within walking distance to the Maling Road shops and Canterbury Primary.
