Comments on 3 Newington Grove CAULFIELD NORTH

This is a very attractive period home in a desirable family location. The home has been lovingly renovated and is immaculately presented, with two living areas and four bedrooms, the main one downstairs. It's on good land, and has a large rear garden with rear ROW access. Overall, it has a great feel and there was a definite buzz at the open. However a closer analysis of the property may give some buyers concern, particularly with the floorplan and flow. With no hallway, access to the back of the house or family room is via the kitchen or sitting room. And the position of the kitchen doesn't give a view over the pool or backyard, which may concern those with younger children. As well, while it does have all the spaces for larger families, this is a smaller home compared to modern four bedroom family homes. It is well-suited to families with younger children, but buyers may ask how the property will grow with the family when the children get bigger. Perhaps this is a home for 5-10 years, rather than 10-20 years.
