Comments on 29 Kooyongkoot Road HAWTHORN

Looking likes its built in 1880 but actually built in 2001- this Victorian period style home has almost everything many want in a home - the older style feel and grace with all the mod-cons and practical floorplan of today's living. The façade is engaging, the entrance is classy and the rear living and eating areas - indoor and out are intoxicating - you know you are in a good home. Perhaps kitchen placement with ease of view to rear garden maybe a slight issue for those with toddlers - but that maybe overly picky. Upstairs the proportions work well perhaps another bathroom or better placement of 2nd bathroom was the only improvement we could suggest. Rear garden big tick and so we come to the only oversight in our mind - obviously these people were not car people - yes it has a double car garage but it's a tight fit and it feels like the garaging for a $2m home not a $6m home. But hey if you haven't got 3 Maseratis then you won't even notice what we are saying. Even though it's early days this will be one of the better rating homes of 2012 - great big family home on a very good block in a great position.
