This Edwardian home has been renovated to suit the needs of a family. The high ceilings throughout the lower level accentuate the grand proportions of most rooms and the tandem driveway provides the needed off street parking. The large kitchen/ family room connects well to the private backyard and pool - although the south orientation may be a concern. The ensuite-to-the-study configuration does not quite work but this area of the home could be reworked once the children are older to produce a master bedroom with WIR and ensuite, and perhaps re-position a bathroom closer to the other bedrooms. On the down side, Abbott St carries local traffic and the home's proximity to the train may make noise an issue for some buyers. At the right price though, this home does have the convenience of being walking distance to the village, transport and beach, and could provide a ready-made option for a family that may benefit from further improvement in time.
