For a double-storey period home, the floorplan here is ideal, with all the living downstairs, all the bedrooms upstairs, and the kitchen overlooking the family room and backyard. This is a high quality home in a high quality area. In terms of the feel, the room sizes, and the ceiling heights, it has got it all. The front formal rooms and the family room are just stunning, with the stairs tucked away nicely instead of being an impediment in the middle of the home, as is so often the case in extended period homes. The backyard has no grassed area and is dominated by a swimming pool, which can be an issue for younger families. However, it is a big block, and there is a large decked area next to the pool which may be a reasonable alternative. Parkland is also not too far away (Albert Jones Reserve is beautiful, but about 10 minutes walk). The home is close to Banksia St, so traffic noise may also be an issue for some. This is a classy home, one that most of us would be very proud to call home.
