Comments on 24 Doonkuna Avenue CAMBERWELL

A basic original spec-builder home which has been well maintained and affords good accommodation for a modern family. Block width is critical to the success of this property and it really helps with the sense of space to western side and to the backyard. Pool is a great size and well located on the south-eastern side to maximise access to afternoon sun from the west and it is well screened off by a mature hedge. This is a real highlight and it does not dominate the backyard which is a good size. Overall the floor plan works OK yet is small is some places. Many may look to update finishes (particularly to the bathroom areas) and expand the rear open plan living area by removing the wall between existing family and sitting room areas. This would not be hard to do. Doonkuna is a pretty local street in this quiet, family-friendly precinct and is walking distance to Frog Hollow reserve and Middle Camberwell shops.
