Adam 's Comments on 21 Queen Street, KEW
"A neat single level period home, which has been updated over recent years and packs in quite a bit of accommodation. In a perfect world, this house would have be orientated the other way on the block, to capture northern (and natural access to) light - unfortunately the compact backyard is located on the south side of the house and this is not ideal. No car garaging or ensuite would be other concerns, from a buyer's perspective. That all said this is not bad property - house has a good feel and floor plan does work quite well (some basic internal upgrades would improve this) and although the street is somewhat narrow (parking is only permitted on the eastern side)  the position is quite good here - conveniently close to Kew Junction shops and local schools.  "

26th Nov 2011 - Auction Report - 21 Queen Street, KEW
21 Queen Street
PASSED IN - $1,370,000
This home is situated in a convenient position close to Kew Junction, great local schools and the 109 tram (or Collins Street tram, as auctioneer Peter Batrouney put it) so everything is close by. But despite this, the property could not attract a single genuine bid. Three vendor bids were given and the property passed in at $1,370,000. ...
