Guy 's Comments on 2 Hume Street, ARMADALE
"With a street frontage of this size and a beautifully proportioned period home you could be nothing but excited, this doesnt last long as the the block is very small and any work done previously is of a poor standard. Its hard to imagine who the market will be for this property as its too small for the family buyer and too much work for the empty nester. There will be interest as an Armadale address will always have appeal and this property is well positioned to transport shops and schools. The lane way adds a little flexibility and might help offset the small and unusual land size."

18th Sep 2010 - Auction Report - 2 Hume Street, ARMADALE
2 Hume Street
BOUGHT* - $1,150,000
In front of some 80 onlookers, auctioneer Anthony Grimwade sold the merits of this house by highlighting its elongated frontage and its neighbourhood. This ignited interest in two parties who nudged the price up to $1,025,000. Bidding then petered out, however, so the property was passed in for that amount. Bought after for $1,150,000....

Explanations & Disclaimers
Bought* - Indicates property has been bought. We are a buyer rating company and a buyer advocate company only, and we use the word bought instead of sold to give the website a buyer flavour. We do not buy all the properties listed on this website, therefore we often rely on an advertised price or the selling agent to indicate the bought price and occasionally the result may be inaccurate.
