Comments on 19 Margaret Street CANTERBURY

This home, with it's beautiful facade, has a fantastic feel as you walk in.  It has well proportioned rooms and pretty period features.  The sloped land could be an issue for some.  Rather than a second storey, there is a lower ground floor at the rear.  Perfect for the teenage retreat, where separation is welcomed, however, perhaps not for families with younger children.  This makes the kitchen/family room (from the rear) the second storey and the connection to outdoors (via a side terrace and steps) is not there.  Not ideal if wanting to watch younger children playing outside.  This is, however, a great sized block of land with a grand period home in a terrific location, with Maling Road shops and the station a stone's throw away.
