Comments on 18 Bernard Street BALWYN NORTH

18 Bernard Street is a capacious home in a great location, with many more positives besides. Situated in the heart of the Balwyn High School zone, this double-storey brick house, with five decent-sized bedrooms and a double garage, provides ample accommodation. The ceiling heights both upstairs and downstairs are above standard for this type of home, and the living spaces all have a good warm feeling. The kitchen and bathrooms are of average (but not below average) quality, though I imagine some upgrades might be considered in five to ten years’ time. The below $2m market for this type of home on a good parcel of land is currently strongly contested, and I do recall this home being open with another agent not so long ago. With the market having picked up in the last six to eight weeks, however, there may be a happier outcome this time around.
