Comments on 177 Finch Street GLEN IRIS (Stonnington)

This is a basic, dated house that for many could be a good opportunity to buy into this area. It has been cosmetically updated and is light and bright internally. However one would question the value in spending too much money here, as the house itself does not have too much value, the ceiling heights are low and the layout is not ideal for 2012 living. The connection to the backyard is also not perfect and the space externally not expansive - although this could be improved with some clearing and landscaping. The main pluses are the western rear orientation and a good position close to the High Street tram and the Harold Holt pool. It is an option worth thing thinking about, if bought at the right price.
