Comments on 17 Russell Street CAMBERWELL

This original brick Victorian home is in many ways a rare gem, and is liveable now or easily updated in the future. The floorplan works okay, although some may find the rear open-plan area a tad small. The kitchen and utility areas are also a bit dated and the house is maybe one or two rooms short.  The rear yard is a good size, but again many would look to update here. Perhaps the pool and stable area could be updated, which would not be hard to do.  The wide frontage is a big key to the success of this property as it allows for prized car access and gives the façade real presence. Underpinning all of this is of course the address. Within the prized Tara Estate, Russell Street is leafy and features many fine original homes. It is not far away from the Camberwell shopping hub, railway station and many fine local school schools.  We would be surprised if this did not attract good buyer interest.
