Mal 's Comments on 17 Kirkwood Avenue, SANDRINGHAM
"This home doesn't grab me as it has a few throwbacks to the 1970's in terms of finishes and floorplan location but that is no need to dismiss this home. Great Sandringham street and north facing rear. Rip up the brickwork at the front and give a more welcoming entrance - then go to the rear and move the laundry to the second bathroom and then open up the whole rear area to take advantage of its great aspect and rework a bit upstairs for the kids. This is one of those homes that might not fly out of the blocks because it has that less than widely popular art deco façade and finishes and a floorplan that would turn off a few - but don't be one of them if you have feelings for this home and area. If you've got the imagination this could be a very good long term family home and its 100% livable right now."
