Everything about this home works and it works well.

Position
Trams - High St into the city, up to Glenferrie Road and then along the Glenferrie Spine to Kew schools. Walk down to Malvern Road and you have the train or tram into Burke Road, Cotham Road schools. Malvern shops, walk to Central Park and the list goes on. The agents couldn't exaggerate how central, at an affordable price this position is.

Property
Inform are one of the best Australian designers at this price level - if not the best. I consider their homes iconic, always practical, free-flowing, good spaces and their signature light, light and more light. They get Australia and Australians and more recently international buyers.

This home is no exception - Love upstairs computer room - Love the layout and the indoor/outdoor connection. Maybe the kitchen to pool supervision is not ideal for young ones.

Price
This is Finch Street Glen Iris rather than Finch St Malvern East, so it's a little cheaper and also why you find a new home in this precinct - due to limited Heritage controls.

This home will attract attention on two fronts. 143 Finch is good in any market - however, in this 2018 market, good homes are even harder to find - so you will in all likelihood have to compete.

In the longer term (the builders/designers have been around for decades now - starting in Bayside) due to lightweight construction they will need a freshen up for resale.

These homes are Australian and they stand the test of time in many ways.

143 Finch Street is a really good offering.
