For lovers of period-style homes, this cottage is one of the prettiest on the market right now. The Arts and Crafts theme works well throughout, and I loved its human scale. Although internally it is bit small in places (i.e. tight entry and stairs, informal living area) many will look beyond that. The car garaging is a big plus, and while it is detached from the house it works nicely and the property is very well secured. I am not sure, if you wanted to enlarge the living/kitchen area, whether it would be possible to extend this house at the rear. That said, I do think that some basic internal changes could work well and adequately solve any problems. The location is right in the heart of Kew's schooling precinct and is walking distance to almost everything - which of course has its pluses and minuses. All in all, this is a very unique offering that should attract good interest and may be hard to value with emotions running high come auction day.
