This home makes you feel good. Stepping inside, you immediately slow down and feel at ease because there's a sense of sanctuary here.

It's a combination of the spaces being not-too-big, the light having not-too-much contrast and the colours and surfaces being not-too-harsh. 

This is a quintessential suburban long-term family home in a family area. Good entertaining spaces, inside and outside, good bedroom separation as well as lots of storage. Importantly in this new market, it is move-in ready - there are no renovations needed which create uncertainty around dollars, time and risk.

What this home doesn't have is close walking distance proximity to train, shops and many schools. Parents could be chaufferring kids until and if the tram becomes manageable. Although it is south facing, it's not dark and some may prefer a garage but the large carport and shed are acceptable for this price range.

At the low to mid $2m's range, what else is there on the market right now for families?
